Management MSc / MRes in Corporate Governance and Business Ethics

Birkbeck’s Postgraduate Corporate Governance and Business Ethics programmes are designed to provide a foundation both for those wishing to engage critically with issues of business, law, society and the environment as well as for those wishing to be involved professionally in the processes of corporate governance and business ethics. Our programmes of study are of relevance for practitioners in management and in corporate governance in the private, public and third sectors, for executive and non-executive board members, and for those interested in issues of corporate governance and ethics from the perspective of Management, Law, Economics and the Environment.

For those MSc students wishing to concentrate on Public Sector Governance or those choosing to focus on Environmental Issues in Corporate Governance and Ethics, modules are offered in collaboration with the Department of Political Science and with the Geography Department.

PhD

Birkbeck also offers students the opportunity to pursue a PhD in the Department of Management, with a focus on Corporate Governance and Ethics.

Postgraduate Certificate in Corporate Governance and Business Ethics

The Postgraduate Certificate in Corporate Governance and Business Ethics is designed to introduce students to issues of corporate governance and business ethics.  It will provide students with a thorough introduction to theoretical issues in corporate governance and business ethics and is of relevance for practitioners in management and in corporate governance in the private, public and third sectors; executive and non-executive board members; and those interested in issues of corporate governance and ethics from the perspective of Management, Politics and the Environment.

Postgraduate Courses in Geography

The College also offers a graduate course in the Department of Geography of relevance to those interested in Corporate Governance and Business Ethics.
